A.  In Texas, Public Schools fall under the jurisdiction and administration of Independent School Districts or ISD's.  A specific Independent School District's (ISD) boundries may or may not coincide with the boundries of the city or county in which the ISD is principally located.

     When purchasing a home where the School District and specific school assignments for that home or neighborhood are important to you and your family, Always verify the City, County, School District and the school assignment zones within that School District.
